Ok i have very mild acne, however ever since i developed it (2 years ago) 70% of the time when i get out of the shower I'll develop a rash all over my face. Currently im using the gentle cetaphil cleanser, but i've recieved rashes from pretty much every facial cleansinng product, especially neutrogena products. I'll initially wash my face with very luke warm water then wash off the facial product with very cool water, so I dont think it's the water temp. Could it be ingredients in the water? any suggestions would be VERY handy cause my derm had no idea what to tell me..

You could be reacting to the chlorine in the water. Which could be easily taken care of with a filter. Or you could just be sensitive to SA in neutrogena? I don't think Cetaphil has that. Don't use any cleanser in the shower and see if it's the water. That would be an easy way of figuring it out. Then get filter if that is the case. Good luck.

i have heard that crap can grow in the shower head like bacteria and what not, as six of nine mentioned, there is some type of filter that you can buy that is supposed to cut this out. i'm not sure if this is what's happening or not though.
