Go to zerozits.com, on the site they have a thing about what ingredients will mess up your skin. From my knowledge I know that mineral oil can cause some people to break out, but I've used a fade cream with mineral oil in it and I had no problem. (eLLe) 2 Share Posted November 5, 2005 i'm no expert and this is what i THINK is true:talc can cause some pple to break out. i used to use cover girl's fresh complexion powder, which contained talc, and i break out. unfortunately, most regular makeups contain talc. so i've switched over to mineral makeup.mineral oil is non-comedogenic, contrary to popular belief. it's very safe.i THINK menthol is an irritant. not too sure with this one.go to paula's website, there's an ingredient's dictionary. baptista 1 Share Posted November 5, 2005 I haven't found info on that particular stearate, but as much as possible I've been trying to avoid products with stearates for things I 'm going to leave on my skin bc lots of stearates show up on those comedogenic ingredient lists. I know there are some out there that are ok, but some are not and since not all are listed and I cant take my lap top with me to walmart, I have decided to just try to avoid those types of ingredients in cosmetics.
