CursedSkin 0 Share Posted October 31, 2005 i remember the second time i went on accutane, i only did it for three months...my face cleared up super quick...so i figured that should do it....4-5 months later, the acne came back...maybe if i wouldve stayed on for 5-6 months it wouldve done the trick?does accutane take longer than three months for it to be effective? im thinking it does....... A typical treatment for accutane usually runs 5 or 6 months. 3 is pretty short. Why did you go off so quickly? Were you having problems?
