I just received the Magick Botanicals trial set because I think my skin may have become more sensitive over the past few months. What I am mainly trying to get rid of is the very small acne and bumps that I still get from time to time, my camera does not do close-ups very well, so I'm sorry I can't post a good picture. I am patch testing the cleanser and moisture lotion with and without BP at the moment, and so far so good. I'll keep you posted.

The patch testing went good, no redness or irritation at all. Before I went to sleep I washed my face with the Magick cleanser, which left my face feeling clean, not dry. The Clearasil face wash I normally use leaves a filmy feeling, but it still worked ok. I mixed a little bit of the Magick moisturizer and Regimen BP gel with a little water and put that on my face and then went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning the little skin-colored bumps were reduced by about 70%, the small whiteheads on my nose were reduced by about 50%. The overall skin texture was somewhat smoother. I thought my usual regimen worked pretty well, but if this works better then I'll switch. Most the little bumps are near my hairline so I'll also try the shampoo and conditioner. I'll have to try different combinations of products to see what is really making the difference.

I think the Magick line is really making a difference; my overall skin texture is a lot smoother, and the oiliness is much less. The milia are basically gone, and the little whiteheads around my nose are reduced. The shampoo and conditioner really helped my hairline clear up. I think these products are worth a try because of what they don't have in them (excessive irritants, etc.). It is too bad there are so few products from other makers as gentle as these are.
