Spezza 1 Share Posted October 25, 2005 Just been prescribed Accutane for mild acne. Doctor agreed to a low doseage: 40mg/day, 5 times a week (my weight is 145 lbs). The dose is low because he was reluctant to place me on it.Question is: how does this doseage compare with other peoples? Is it extremely low? What results can I expect to achieve at this level? How does it compare with the recommended doseage levels?

Trizznain 0 Share Posted October 25, 2005 That's not low at all. I started at 10mg/day at 180lbs for severe acne. It took me 2 months before I worked my way up to 40mg, and by then I was tipping the scales at about 190.
