julieta 0 Share Posted October 25, 2005 it means that you should take 125mg of accutane per kg of body weight. Change lbs to kg to work it out. on the other hand i have taken around 350mg/kg so i dont know whether that rule stands...
beentheredonethat 6 Share Posted October 25, 2005 In studies, the best chance for remission happened when patients took around 125mg/kg of bodyweight cumulatively in a course.150lbs is about 68kg. 5 months is about 150 days assuming 30 day months, so your total dosage will be 12,000mg. Divide that by your bodyweight and you have 176mg/kg, plenty for one course. Please check my math.

Trizznain 0 Share Posted October 25, 2005 I have been thinking about this alot lately. When I started my course I was little under 180lbs, I was up to a little above 200, I am currently a little under 200, and I plan on being about 190 by the time I finish my course. How do you think that effects the cumulative dose I am supposed to take?
aceanderson 0 Share Posted October 25, 2005 Is it bad if your dose ends up being more than 125? Mine worked out to be 200mg/kg...
