SCAR REMOVAL

Recommended Posts

So FAR, here's a few thoughts on getting rid of scars:

#1, FRAXEL

#2, BOTOX + EXCISION + DERMBRASION/LASER

#3, COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY

#1, FRAXEL. So Far, Floridaguy's experiences + pics shows that it works.

I don't know how DEEP & PERVASIVE his scars were, but I think his treatment

is legit & real. But, it seems very expensive, and subject to hype, the laser du jour, so SHOP.

#2, This 3 combo came after I met Dr. Michael Kane (NYC) at a business dinner

with my wife --- and I nailed him down as soon as I heard he was a PS.

There are technical reasons why Dr Kane said BOTOX was essential -- to keep you

from undoing the Excision & Stitches with all that muscle movement -- and like I said,

I KNOW HE IS 100% EXPERT & HONEST. So, do not think that the BOTOX is just an EXTRA,

easily discarded. Maybe it could account for a extra 20% improvement.

#3, This is NEW to me. Google "COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY."

I think some German researcher invented this needle device. "CIT" --- One PS in NYC,

Dr Philip Miller (60 EAST 56th St) 212-750-7100 has a web site & I let my wife Solange

loose to check him out; she called the office today & he charges $400 for a consult.

The $400 is NOT applied to any treatment you could get, but more news to follow.

It seems like the device, THE DERMAROLLER, can be bought & used at home. Is this

more hype in the scar removal game, I don't know. But it arrived here in the USA

in 1998 .... so I hope some of this helps, and I'm counting on some of you here to

research these issues. My job is to call the NYC derms-ps & DROP by their offices

& check them out. (yeah, I got balls but I can always charm the desk gals with a wink

or two to get the truth.) Most of these specialists are not very far from where I live,

so its NOT a bother. And if anyone here wants me to check out a NYC (Manhattan)

LOL, guy, I'm happy to do that for you. Derek

U know the botox made me laugh until I thought about it. In places of high tension the stitches can get pulled to tight and cause lots of problems. When I get my excision I will ask about botox. Its on my cheek though so I will probably look like a stroke victim lol.
