Ben100604 62 Share Posted October 22, 2005 Thankfully my skins got really clear recently. I always thought that if my skin got clear again, then my life would be as good as it was 4 years ago when I managed to keep it clear for a year. Obviously, my lifes much much better now than it has been for a long time, but lots of things are missing. The crowd of people that I used to hang round with 4 years ago, I barely see any of them now. They've all moved away, couples have broken up etc. I expect it happens as we come out of our teenage years, life becomes less fun, you get more responsibilty. I'm certainly being a bit nostalgic, but they really did seem like the best years of my life. I probably just need a girlfriend, but ah we'll have to wait and see what life throws at me now that my acne is virtually kaput.

Daphnis 5 Share Posted October 22, 2005 When you have acne, you think of your acne more and you take for granted what you have around you. (or avoid it because you consume your life with worrying about acne.)I guess, when you have clear skin, you think about life more than your acne because the thing that plagued you is now gone. Clear skin gives you some confidence that you can face people. You can always contact your friends again, those you have missed. Sometimes when you have acne, you won't care for those things until later. Well, for me anyway.
