sirgreg23 0 Share Posted October 15, 2005 does anything think cool touch will help for my shallow scars ??? i went for a consult for fraxel and the derm told me id be happy with the results from cooltouch and it would save me 1400 dollars ... really cant tell if hes trying to rip me off or save me money ... at any rate if coool touch doesnt satiesfy me i definetly would go else where for fraxel instead of giving him more money Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

amberkat 0 Share Posted October 15, 2005 Cooltouch did help a little with my scarring - at least temporarily. I have come to the conclusion that all of these treatments help tempoarily because they cause injury to your skin, like a sunburn. Your skin stays a little swollen for quite some time and the swellings makes it appear smoother. I had only 3 cool touch treatments, the last in July. Maybe my skin still looks a little better. Its really hard to tell. The reason I went back for cool touch is because I found it helped with the oil production. I don't feel the need to rush in for another treatment, so maybe it has helped. Keithr23 0 Share Posted October 15, 2005 I googled the cool touch 4 a while and believe it is used for acne prevention adn not really scar reduction. Give it a shot I guess couldnt hurt. trieditall 0 Share Posted November 15, 2005 IMO Cooltouch is a ripoff. I had three full face treatments with NO results. Save yourself a lot of trouble and pain and just flush that $ down the toilet. strawberri_BMW 0 Share Posted November 16, 2005 Hmm...i heard one of e staff nurse in a specialist clinic, she told me that 3 cooltouch = 1 resurfacing laser.Omg.... like that then i rather go for resurfacing laser instead of cooltouch man since e respond for cooltouch from the most of u ain't positive. giraffe 0 Share Posted November 16, 2005 I have had about 10 cooltouch treatments over a period of 2.5 years and I think it works great but over time the scars seem to come back.
