small bumps all over forehead

Recommended Posts

Hi-I have been on the regimen for over a year and it has worked wonderfully. The past month or so I have added in the aspirin toner (has low dose of SA to exfoliate as i can't use AHA). I got a little over excited with exfoliating and now I have these little flesh colored bumps all over my forehead. You can't see them very well but my forehead is really rough/bumpy and not at all smooth. So my question is-has anyone else had this experience and if so, should I continue doing the regimen (I only do it at night except when my skin is breaking out) or stop using any products on my forehead for a while? Any help would be great!!! Thanks!

Sounds like it could be an allergic reaction. If they've been itchy at all or they all popped up suddenly in one night there's a high chance that it is an allergic reaction. I think this kind of thing can happen also when your skin gets way too dry and it ends up freaking out. Try putting some hydrocortisone cream on it and taking an antihistamine [benadryl, etc]. If it's a reaction it will stick around for about a week, if it stays around longer I'd suggest going to a derm. Make sure not to pick, don't put acne topical cream on it, and use a light moisturizer that's oil-free.
