BP on sunburn

Recommended Posts

You shouldn't use BP along with sunbathing so I guess that using it with a burned face isn't the best idea.... I would wait untill my redness is gone.

Using BP on sunburned skin will cause your skin that is sunburned to be greatly irritated and in most cases the skin burns or gets reddened even more.

Using any kind of exfoliants (AHA and BHA's) will also cause the skin to get irritated and reddened!

The best thing to do is to is wash with a GENTLE cleanser, with no grainy exfoliatants, or alcolhol in it. You might want to try a creamy cleanser made for sensitive skin.

Remember to put on Aloe Vera Gel with Lidocane. The Lidocane will numb the sunburned areas. (This is best used on the body's skin not the face. For the face you might want to try 100% Aloe Vera Gel, the non-watered down stuff. It kind of feels like Jello-O. You can find this in most health food stores.
