Guest Freak_Turbulence Share Posted September 17, 2005 If a lotion doesn't say that it is non comedogernic (spelling?), does that mean we can assume that it is? The lotion I'm referring to is Lubriderm, and I think it may be the reason for recent breakouts.
baptista 1 Share Posted September 18, 2005 that is what I have always thought, but i could be wrong. Seems to make sense that if they could put non-comedogenic on the label they would; more ppl likely to buy it that way.

marxs 0 Share Posted September 18, 2005 i think it would be best to check the ingredients themselves. sometimes companies like to put non-comodogenic knowing everyone is looking for something that will not clog our pores

kah_lua47 0 Share Posted September 19, 2005 i think that finding the right moisturizer for your face (that won't add to your breakouts) is one of the hardest things.. especially if you have oily skin. I going to agree with ilikeabcs on this one: "I HATE ACNE!!!!"
PBJTime 0 Share Posted September 19, 2005 Anything labeled non-comedogenic must actually be non-comedogenic! Don't bother looking at individual ingredients either, and judging comedogenicity that way. It is very possible to produce a non-comedogenic formulation that in fact contains comedogenic ingredients. Cetaphil would be a good example of this, as would any other non-pore clogging cleanser that has SLS.Moisturizer, no matter what type, will make you break out if you use too much, or if you have oily skin and use it on a hot, humid day.
