matte mineral make-up?

hi, i have adult acne controled with pro-active...(thank goodness) i have tried bare-minerals and loved it in the winter, it actually cleared my face up even more! then came summer in southern louisiana...need i say more? it already made me shiny which became HORRIBLE in the summer..anyone try a very matte mineral make-up?my dry skinned friends love the humidity down here...i just become a grease ball..i go through oil -absorbing sheets like crazy!...that's ok though soon they'll be full of wrinkles, and we oily girls will be wrinkle free! ...at least something good will come out of this! thanks for all of your help!

you absolutely must try Veggie Girl's mineral makeup and rice powder. I also have oily skin and this makeup/powder has helped more than I could ever imagine. The mineral makeup is definitely matte and the rice powder is clear and really helps to absorb the oil. I LOVE it! Just PM her for more info.

i have to second that i dont know what i would do without veggies minerals.i too have oily skin and it gives a long lasting matte finish.

Haven't used Melange, sorry, so don't know if it's any better than Veggie girl's make up or not. Veggie girls' make up isn't a 'known' brand - it's one she makes herself and markets under the name 'Crush'. I ordered two pots of the largest size available (30g) and it cost me about £16 or £17 including shipping.

It took me a while to get used to applying it, but it was worth the effort, because it looks really good and very natural.

well i'm glad to find something that might work!...most things break me out horribly i'm 29yrs. old you'd think i'd be done w/this acne crap! i see you're from england (my father is too) anyway is veggie girl from the u.s. or europe? she hasn't written back yet. i'm here in louisiana, 2 hrs. outside of new orleans,which is at a stand still, i'm thinking i may not get it in time ,our mail is running slow due to the flood, but we shall see!
