First of all, Both punch grafts and TCA CROSS would appear to be very beneficial for ice pick type scarring.

With TCA CROSS you'll need to be patient though as it will take 3+ treatments to fill in the ice pick scarring, and each treatment is spaced at least a month apart, maybe more. The problem with TCA CROSS in the UK is that i don't think any derm does it. I don't know if Dr Chu (Specialist at Hammersmith Hospital, London) offers it, but i think he does the punch graft technique.

I know that some people on this board from the UK have had treatments with Dr Chu, so maybe they'll give their input here. He is supposed to be a good derm/doc when treating Acne Scarring.

I know of a clinic in Northern Ireland that offers a ide range of treatments for Acne scarring such as Various laser treatments, subcision, punch grafts, excision with suturing + others. The clinic there is only 20 mins from Belfast City airport. The Dermatologist there is Dr Julian Handley- here is the info on him taken from the website-

BLCSC is based in Bangor, N. Ireland. The clinic is headed by Dr Julian Handley MD FRCP, Consultant Dermatologist who has specific expertise in cosmetic skin and laser surgery and hair transplantation. Dr Handley is a current member of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), American Society of Medical and Laser Surgery(ASMLS), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
