SSC always has good deals on kits. That's definately the way to go. Or if you like a product, get autoship, then pay no shipping and handling!

best products:

Glycolic cleanser

unplugged

A-copper moisturizer and serum

super hydrate

5% benzoil peroxide

all the masks are good, too

The only product I heard stinks is A-tox...which is for wrinkles anyway.

ya, unfortunately there aint no steekin' autoship here in canada, heheh

serious skin products I have used:

Tried and liked a lot

-The Original 4 piece kit (used this kit for years)

(glycolic cleanser, clarifying treatment w/ 2% salicylic acid, glycolic renewal gel, super hydrate)

-Emu and aloe soothing cream (great for soothing chapped skin)

-A-copper cream

-Unplugged (isolutrol)

-Buff polish (just like the smell)

-Deep sauna facial treatment (the old 15 min. one) This one was discontinued. I loved loved loved it, but they made one with an entirely new formulation that was supposed to work in 1 minute, meh.

Tried but didn't see much difference

-A-force serum (maybe would have seen more if I had wrinkles?)

-Multivitamins serum

-glycolic 3 mask ( I think this is better for oilier skin and it has a lot of clay).

-Clearzit (5% benzoyl peroxide, never did anything for me)

-Tea tree soap (smells nice, but ridiculously expensive, $17 for a bar of soap?)

-DryLo (sulphur lotion)

Very Lame

-X-Tract (very lame product you rub on your face)

-Acne Wash w/ 1% salicylic acid (another very lame product that foamed up)

Seems like a lot, but a lot of what I tried were included in with the kits :)

They now have an acne line called 'continuously clear' that I have never been interested in, and I don't think they even bundle up the original 4 piece kit anymore, you have to buy them separately, I'm not even sure who there at serious skin made that decision :D# teh suck. I also hate them whoring their stupid perfumes and makeup's. I mean who cares. Also I hate that they even bothered to spend money on prettying up their package.

/em sharpens the bitter grindstone.

dry-lo works well for you average whithead type pimple. Doesn't do anything for a cyst. it will dry up a normal pimple in a day or two. I don't care for their vitamin-a cream either. The only vitamin-a products that work, IMO are the prescription creams (retin-a, tazorac, differin). The vitamin serum...bullshit, IMO...can't penetrate the cells to do any good...better to take supplements.

The best mask I think is the sulpher/clay one?? I forget. Queen Helenes is good and cheap. I have a ton of SSC masks that have come in kits. They're all fine, but I think the Queen Helene's is best.

Their perfumes and makeup stink...again, IMO...

Products I swear by...

again, A-copper, Unplugged, Glycolic cleanser...Other products are good, but I can take em or leave em. They just come extra in kits..
