Don't go near quinoderm!! Dries up my skin like mad, especially the 10% (for obvious reasons!)

Aguagel.

Nope, acnegel - now in an alcoholic base!

Never used quinoderm, panoxyl ive used 10% and 5% but all it does is dry up the skin. It doesnt stop acne from coming up, i used it for 3 years. I actually think this product worsens acne.

i used both the panoxyl aqua gel and quinoderm. i much prefer quinoderm! The panoxyl dries like a tight mask on your face and after a few days use your face looks and feels like a rough old leather handbag and the redness is unbelievable! Quinoderm is a cream (so the panoxyl cream mite be ok i dunno) but the quinoderm contains an antibactiral agent which has to be a good thing. It sinks into your skin beautifully and more importantly quickly. Its gentle enough to use the 5% BP which i think improves my skin much more than 2.5%. Panoxyl is too harsh for me.

I've been using the Panoxyl 2.5 gel on the Acne.org Regimen for almost a year now and it works well I think. Definitely makes my skin extremely dry in the way alexandra91 described it in this thread but I think it's worth it as it keeps me clear or 98% clear always. Never tried any other BP that's 2.5 though, only some other random brand that was 5% and sucked. I'm thinking about trying the Quinoderm cream in 5% but I'm scared of breaking out hard after being free from serious acne problems since the Regimen kicked in.

If you're going to try out the Regimen and can get Panoxyl for an affordable price (it's pretty cheap everywhere I've looked - this place seems to be the cheapest place to get it in the UK: www.chemistdirect.co.uk), go for it. It works, and it has a pretty nice feel to it. Very gelish so it feels nice when you apply it to your skin. It doesn't dry up immediately after putting it on your face, so you can apply it the way Dan does in his videos. When I tried that with that other 5% BP I mentioned it dried up in two seconds and that made it a lot harder to do the Regimen in general.

Hope this helps a bit.
