cetaphil gentle skin cleanser

this is probably not important but i was just wondering if you need to wet the face first before applying cetaphil gentle skin cleanser wash to the face and rinse. Or maybe it doesn't matter. I just got the cetaphil gentle skin cleanser wash today and i've never used it before. So however silly this question may be, please answer. Thanks!

short answer yes.

warm water will open up your pores for more cleansing action ! (am i wrong?)

the gentle skin cleanser feels very watery and doesnt have the consistancy of most face washes, but treat it just the same.
