Apparently green tea is really good for acne and there are claims that it is more effective than BP but with less side effects. I want to get some loose green tea leaves or the green tea gel/lotion but I don't know where to get it from. Can you get it here?

I know holland and barrett sell the green tea capsules but I don't really wanna take these cos i'm on roaccutane.

Thanks biggrin.gif

There's a good brand called clipper that you can find in all supermarkets, they also do white tea which is meant to be ever better.

I've been drinking green tea for ages, I put honey in it as it's good for you and makes its drinkable, in fact very tasty.

Gonna get some white tea when I remember smile.gif

Green tea is nasty stuff to drink. I normally add sugar sad.gif. But the honey idea sounds good, ill try that.

Trust me, it is not as good as BP Gel (unless for example you have allergies to it). You will need to drink it around 4-8 Oz a day for around 2 months for it to make a difference. It may have a better phycological effect, if so, dont listen to me. The antioxidants are good for the collogen in your skin so its like an internal toner and prevents the decay of the cells.

Try adding lemon to water along side drinking the tea, it will help contribute. However, dont drink to much water based beverages, you are far better off having 2-3 varied fruits a day along with a good intake of veg to equal 5 portions a day. They contain water and vitamins which will have a more positive effect on your skin.

the best green tea you can buy is Jacksons Green Tea with lemon. It tastes really good without sugar and the lemon is an extra ingredient in detoxifying the body.

Green tea contains antioxidants, polyphenols, theanine, as well as a wide variety of vitamins and minerals and is good for the skin as well as lowering cholesterol levels and blood pressure.

The Japanese drink loads of it. Western diseases like breast cancer are pretty much unheard of over there

lol, let us see in 20 years time. Have you any idea where the nuclear waste from Japan and China goes? Ka-plunk. In to the sea.

But normal Tea has antioxidants and vitamins in. The Green Tea is simply a product that has been marketed because it is generally unheard of by most Western people.

We are supposed to have 64 fluid ounces of water a day. Only a third of this is supposed to be in liquid form.

Dont let anyone fool you. Eat a vaired amount of citris and non-citris fruit, along with veg. It will have a better effect on your skin.

Tea has been desiged for a Eastern diet, and we are not talking Chinese take-away.

There are many problems with the Eastern diet which cause conditions and diseases which are generally unheard of in the West.
