B-Complex: when is the best time to take them?

i just started using b-complex vitamins before i start the b-5 regimen. I noticed that it seems sometimes i just pee them out. Do our bodies actually use all of the vitamins given by the 'complex', or does it only use a certain amount and throw the rest out. should i take them with food in my stomach?

I favour the Bs and use niacin with great success.Morning is best time to take them as far as I can tell on an empty stomach.I eat breakfast half an hour later.My skin is improving all the time with niacin, dabs of Bp and gentle cleansing.
