Recommended Posts

It is also called keratosis pilaris - you can do a search on this forum (or elsewhere) to get some info and links for treatment.

Hi, if I'm not mistaken I think ALA PDT may also be used to treat Keratosis pilaris, assuming that's what karmagirl said it's called.

There may be other forms of treatment though. smile.gif

I have KP on my legs, I've found the cheapest treatment is to buy an exfoliating moisturizer (KP needs both exfoliation and moisture, buying a 2 in 1 saves time!). I recommend Jergan's Skin Smoothing lotion or Jergan's Ashy Skin lotion, both do a good job. Just make sure any lotion says Beta Hydroxy. Personally I've found cremes that are only Alpha Hydroxy don't work well enough(though if it has both that's fine). The only thing is you need to wait at LEAST a month of using it for it to start making a difference. But it's been worth it to me!
