My doctor last perscribed 5% bp for me. I think that it bothered some of my skin. THis irritaiton caused little bumps on my forehead. So I found this webpage and went down to 2.5% bp. My forehead and cheeks are happy but my chin is still having problems. SHould I use 5% on my chin and 2.5% everywhere else? I have only been using the regimen for about a week. Any advice would be most welcome.

2.5% has always worked better for me, regardless of where on my face or body it is applies. Several studies also point to the fact that 2.5% is as effective as 5% and without the irritation.

I agree with Dan. But we haven't all the solution. If BP 5% make your chin acne better than with BP 2.5%, don't ask for more and use the qualities of the two dosages.

Ho... According to my experience, SA is more efficient than BP for light/very mild acne, but it is in thiner zone than chin one (under the eyes & fronthead).

So... make your own conclusions...
