My Progress (Pics)

Recommended Posts

I was going to post my pics that I've been taking each week since I started once I was 100% clear, but since I don't think that will be for a while, I will post my progress after 3 months. The problems I have now are due to shallow scarring and red marks, I believe. If anyone can look at these and tell me some things that may help speed up the healing process (vitamins, applications, anything) I would be greatly appreciated.

These pics were taken the very first day I received my first batch of bp gel and last friday which was exactly 3 months since I started.

First Week (How I looked when I started the Regime)

Current (How I look now, kind of, due the flash it may have lightened the redness)

awesome results the scarring is nothing. How long did it take you to get to the point where you weren't breaking out?

Wow, I second all the above comments (except the looking weird one, lol). Beautiful eyes.....

Anyhow, for the red marks I would suggest you use the baking soda scrub ( alittle baking soda mixed with water until it turns into a paste) along with the egg and lemon white mask as outlined in Delna's thread in the red marks section. I wouldn't do the mask every night but about every third night or so, and make sure to use a sunscreen of at least SPF 15 every day.

Good going!

Wow, what great results! How are you finding your scarring/little pink marks changing? They look like they are fading quite fast? My pimples were really concentrated around my chin, so all the little marks are really close together and it looks like i have 2 patches of pink either side of my chin. Are you using the Eucerin renewal?

Here is what I am using, I will post a picture of an up close shot of my skin tommorrow or something for everyone to see the scarring I am talking about

Basis Cleansing Bar

BP Gel

Eucerin Renewal Lotion

Shaving with Gillette sensor 3, as I couldn't find the excel and am shaving with the bar.

I was doing the egg mask for a little while during the 5-6 week mark but stopped due to it taking such a long time and because I had active acne, I may start that up again and see if that helps any.

The marks will fade with time. I don't think there's anything people have found around here that's a miracle for the red marks. However, there is a whole red marks board you might want to check out.

Thanks for posting your pics. I'm glad the regimen's workin' out for you, and it's nice that you stuck with it 'til you got clear. It takes a coupla months for some people to get to the point of being pretty much totally clear.
