Help with lactic acid please!

I don't really know what this stuff is..but I know that there is salicylic acid in cleaners, just wondering if there is lactic acid in face washes..if there are please tell me!

Lactic acid usually is derived from milk/dairy product. If you want to try natural lactic acid for face cleansing or facial mask, try plain yogurt (not flavored one) or sour cream. If yogurt is too strong for you (it is for me), use plain whole milk or plain buttermilk. Dairy product is very soothing for your skin. But you have to rinse it very well, make sure there is no residue left on your skin. Otherwise, rancid milk left in your skin will become a very good medium for bacterial growth. Don't use dairy product for acne prone areas or if you are allergic to milk O:)
