garkee83 2 Share Posted November 9, 2002 Who the hell told you that asprin is salicylic acid??? Hey Timbo, you are partly correct but also partly wrong. As salicylic acid is the major ingredient inside aspirin. They both have salicylates. As a result, those who were allergied to aspirin CANNOT use salicylic acid product. However, WHO THE HELL telling you that apply the soluble aspirin solution to your skin will act as what salicylic acid does??? NO way...then, why didn't you squeeze orange juice to your face in order to take vitamin C???Our skin can only absorb someparts of these minerals, vitamin C can be absorbed as ascorbic acid form, vitamin A in retinol or retinyl palmitate form, vitamin E in tocopherol acetate form. Clear now? Timbo....~ sorry for that...~=P
