Does age affect one's healing time?

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering if age makes a difference in one's healing capacities or is it really just dependant on how old the scar itself is?

electo, Certainly our bodies are less effecient with age. I think after a wound does the initial healing--scabbing and forming new skin--there is little improvement. This is one reason why cross, needling and acid applications are required to make a change in the scar. With new healing there may be additional improvement.
