I know there are tons of flaxseed threads always floating around every few days, but I had to put this up since I haven't seen this topic. I went to my local health food store today to look at flaxseed oil because I'm sure I need some Omega-3 in my diet to hopefully help with my acne, and I realized that Flaxseed Oil also has a lot of Omega-6 and 9 as well. it was my understanding that most people already get enough of the 6 and 9 in their diets, and that we need more of 3 to balance this out. if this is true, then just taking more of 6/9 wouldn't help balance things out would it? On the other hand, fish oil is only Omega-3 and nothing else, so it seems like this would be like the best choice. But why isn't there more discussion on Fish Oil instead of Flaxseed Oil? I want a little more info before I purchase either in a few days.
