how long until burning stops?

Recommended Posts

ok, here it is:

after i wash my face, no burning.

after i put either BenzaClin or the Retin-A-Micro 0.1% Gel, no burning

after i put on the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer, BURNING!

it has only been a few days, how much longer until the burning stops??

If you are new in BP treatment, it should take 2 or 3 weeks, else it would take 1 or 2 weeks.

Are you waiting for ythe skin to absorb the product? What's in the moisturizer? Any usual suspects for irritation?

mmm.... I had burning from the BP when I started but that went after 4 or 5 days... and then I started using Neutrogena Moisturiser and it really irritated my skin and it looked and felt awful. I wasn't prepared to wait weeks for that to settle so got another moisturiser by Garnier Synergie called Vitamin Radiance (it has AHAs too)... I noticed a difference immediately and that's what I have kept with. It works but it is gentle on your face.

I guess you can wait it out on what you use at the moment but remember that not every product is suited to everyone... I personally wouldn't wait 2-3 weeks for burning to subside... but that's just my opinion!
