where i go its 100 dollars a visit (YEAH THATS RIGHT, 100 DOLLARS SO THEY CAN TALK TO YOU FOR 10 MINUTES AND PERSCRIBE YOU BULLSHIT)

100 dollars plus the cost of what they give you.

1,000 of dollars down the drain.

i feel sorry that i made my parents pay this.

im sure you can look around and find a cheaper one

The one and only private derm appointment I had cost 110 British pounds, my healthcare through work covered it. My healthcare provider wouldn't cover the cost of roaccutane, hence I've been on differin for the past 13 weeks.

I am currently waiting for an appointment on the NHS since that is free....... got a letter saying it could be a maximum wait of 15 weeks. :(

Hey I do not have insurance either but when I was younger, I saw a dermatologist ,when I was on my parents insurance.

I told her when scheduling about no insurance and she has a 50% discount for those types of cases as long as you pay in cash. So my visit was $46.

Call around and ask doctors if they take cash payments or if there is a reduced payment for the uninsured. A good dermatologist who is honest and genuine should have no problems about helping you out.

Also in moderate to larger cities, there is usually a free health clinic but they might not be as thorough. Best of luck.
