Isolagen doctors

Recommended Posts

Just to keep people informed, Dr Chu in London is fully booked until November. I can't wait that long so I'm going to see Mr Yeo in Hastings in a fortnight.

Who said Dr Chu is fully booked?

I only spoke with Dr Chu on the phone a couple of weeks ago and he said that people could get appointments in a few weeks.

How much does your doc charge?

I spoke to his secretary this morning to arrange a consultation and she said he is fully booked until November now.

The doc in Hastings charges £2,500 for the Isolagen treatment and about £500 for cell storage.

Antz, I don't know anything about Dr Yeo but I think most of the other doctors that do Isolagen are plastic surgeons who probably treat wrinkles, etc. As Dr Chu is an acne specialist, he might be the most qualified for our situation. I've been for scar treatments with two other doctors in London. One Harley Street and another very experienced and well known with practices in London and Santa Monica (near Beverly Hills). Of the three, I personally feel that Dr Chu is the most dedicated, experienced, fair and appropriate for acne scars. I don't mean to push you into seeing him - the above is just my personal experience, and I wish I had somebody to tell me two years ago, all that I know now.

Thanks Lola. I'm just not sure I can hold out until November. I want to go on holiday at the end of September and I was hoping my skin would improve enough so my holiday isn't spoilt by my obsessing. The CO2 treatment looks like it hasn't really worked.

I am having a free consultation with Dr Yeo and I'll make a judgement then, but he did say he's had success with treating acne scars and is experienced with using fillers and lasers.
