ACNE SEASON PROBLEM!

Recommended Posts

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone can help with my acne disorder. It's the weirdest thing, I have been getting bad acne in the winter. I've noticed this trend for me for the past 3 years. I get acne for a duration of the year and it clears up around this time (Spring time). I know it sounds bizarre but I'm completely clear now and I don't want to break out during the same time this year, let alone ever again. Is it just a coincidence or so I have a logical problem?

Well examine your behavior during the winter and in the spring. Do you spend more time indoors during the winter? Do you excercise less in the spring? Allergies? I dunno I doubt it's a coincidence that your acne gets worse in the spring.

Not me! I break out in the cold as well. I learned this on dermadoctor.com, but it says that acne is also affected by the season effect on the face. In winter pores close, constricting the follicle. It is also dryer so skin collects more readily in the pore. Also, in warm weather the act of sweating allows free flow from the pores etc. Check it out, I'm very tired today & may be getting things wrong

Is there anyway I can protect my skin during cold weather?
