On to a Derm now, not family doctor

Recommended Posts

I went first to a family doctor about a month ago and got perscribed Benzaclin, doesn't really work the way I need it for, I have mild to moderate. 90 percent of the time it's mild. Anyways what will the Derm say and what will he perscribe me? Maybe Retin-A or Minicyline or what will he perscribe me do you think. Thanks and questions/comments are really appreciated/.

It's impossible to predict what your derm is going to say. Every doctor is different and has different methods. There are a variety of meds you could try, if you go to the main acne.org page there is a nice listing of various treatments you could look at.
