Anyone in the Uk see 'one life' last night?

Recommended Posts

Diary of a terminally ill girl. Died at 16... very very sad if you saw it. I'm 16 too. Ayway I was out today, and I thought for a second 'oh no my skin doesn't look too good....wait..' Then almost subconciously I remembered the programme, the girl, and thought wtf am I thinking. I'm alive, I'm gonna be living today.. and tomorrow... Oh no I've got exams soon... so, at least I'm gonna be alive to do them.

I don't want to play off others troubles, but today it made me think twice before even thinking about my relatively minor problem.

Anyone else see it?

I saw it.

I started crying near the end, especially when you saw her sister find out, all I could think was, wow, I'm so lucky my sister is healthy, sometimes we forget how lucky we are-yes. it was awful, especially when at the end, it like had a picture of her and said '1988-2004'..I was like oh my god, she was born two years after me, and shes dead, just seems so unfair. it for sure made me realise how lucky I am yes, god, to be in her and her families situation, that girl was so brave though, especially since she had a young daughter.

Yeah the end really got me. Especially when they show the photos, and the date (1988 - 2004), as it sums it up so bluntly, but honestly. Yeah she was very brave... I think it was the daughter that kept her fighting.

When the sister came down crying, that's all they had to show to hit you hard with the reality.

Hello

I missed it, didn't know a new series was on. Its an award winning prog.

That sounds terribly sad, I suppose things like this are reality checkers for people like us

I'd rather switch places with someone who has more going for them than to live life as myself. At least they'd have a chance at feeling joy and happiness.
