hair products cause red bumps...

Recommended Posts

hey...so ive been reading a bunch of the posts that are in this forum...and no one seems to be talking about what hair products they use!! i know for a fact that the products im using are causing (or at least making worse) the zits i have on my chest and back. i have medium-long hair and like to wear it wavy...i dont put soooo much stuff in it, but i need to use something after i shower when its wet to keep it from being dry and puffy...then i use a little bit of hairspray when its dry to keep it in place for the whole day. BTW i cover my chest and shoulders with a towel when i am applying these products to my hair.

im wondering if anyone has tried different hair products that dont irritate their skin? i know, i know...cut my hair! but im not willing to do that (yet)...its so pretty! i use John Frieda Corrective Styling Gel when it is wet after i shower, then Down Under Naturals flexible hold hairspray after i style it.

i also have bangs, but dont get any zits on my forehead... my face is almost always clear, with just a few breakouts before i get my period. i used to use Alpha-Hydrox facial wash, but it has been discontinued (at least where i am...)..im so sad! it was great! now i use Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser...its pretty good, but all other Neutrogena products cause me to breakout. i have tried lots of different mosturizers, all causing me to breakout...but then i got a sample of Clinique Dramatically Different Mosturizing GEL...i LOVE it!!!! it definately helps keep my face hydrated and clear!
