switching from 23 to 30 spf sunscren makes u dark?

Recommended Posts

sorry i wasnt sure where to post this....

last week i switch from a 23 to 30 spf face sunscreen, now im really tan. Im darker than before, what happened??? Im also on accutane and im wondering if this is bad. I mean dont get me wrong, i like being tan and all, but what is gonna happen in the long run? And it doesn't make sense that a higher spf sunscreen makes u darker. Also this sunscreen (coppetones faces) feels like its burning my face through out the day, even though my face looks fine. Any thoughts to what might be happening? Is it because of summer coming and all??

here are some pics for yall to see. I somtimes cover my scars with a concealer so that is why it looks like i have no scars, but trust me i have alot. I swear im getting baked. Hope my scars are not getting hyperpigmented at the same time.

Did you change anything else at all?

Maybe you applied less of the SPF 30 that you do when you wear the spf 23?

Or did you do something that would make the sunscreen wear off your skin (ie sweat or water?)

no. i applied enough. I do sweat, but only at night time when i go work out at times. I think its just a cheaper brand.

Your skin is waaaaaay more sensitive to sunlight on the 'tane. I've got a beautiful, golden glow though the sunscreen I used was 30 SPF.
