Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of getting some mineral make up, and want to get the best one, or at least something close...

which one is better - Aromaleigh or JLynne?

also, what is better? foundation or a powder?

I haven't tried either, but people always recommend buying samples. This way you can try out the products for only a few dollars.

I recommend buying samples to try different brands. I prefer www.raesinimages.com or www.corycosmetics.com.

It is hard to answer your questions, you didn't really state what you are looking for (natural ingredients?, price range?, what type of coverage?, etc).

Most mineral make-up foundations come in a powder form, only a few companies sell a liquid foundation or pressed powder.

As for the 2 companies mentioned, Aroma Leigh is cheaper & has better colors (Jlynne colors run orange). I believe both also use mica or serecite in their foundations, which can irritate some and make some break out or look oily.

Veggie Girl..I was wondering if you've tried other mineral foundations besides Cory Cosmetics or RaesinImages?? What about those two do you prefer over other brands? I've tried Bare Escentuals and another company called Mineral Basics. I do prefer the coverage of Bare Escentuals, but it has Bismuth I believe. Do Cory and Raesin have Mica and/or Serecite in them?
