* Becoming withdrawn

* Loss of interest in usual activities

* Feeling forgetful

* Moodiness

* Dulled senses

* Unexplained crying

* Acne or acne-like rash

* Anxiety

* Panic attacks

* Feelings of food poisoning

* Headache

* Seeing spots

* Mental or emotional breakdown

* Altered emotional state, i.e. feeling irate, impatient, hypersensitive

Sweetjade, do you have any idea of the prevelance of this chloracnce?

It seems to be a highly specialist and rare condition, which is unlikely to affect reading these boards?

I can just see people who have been plagued with acne for years reading your post and having a light bulb moment, only to try what your recommending to find that it makes no difference.

Your a highly knowledgable person, and people will believe whatever you say, in essence, you have authority... use it carefully.

Personally I would rather know the dangers, and there is nothing harmful about having all the information - if people try it and it does'nt work, so what? Curing acne is all about trial and error anyway.

Thanks for the enlightening post Jade, I have always avoided artificial sweetners like the plauge, now I know why - in the same way that I avoid hydrogenated fats which are produced by heating oil in the presence of a nickel plate whilst bubbling through with hydrogen...how on earth can such a process be anything but harmful?

Sugar with chlorine molecules in it? They'll be getting us to sprinkle arsenic on our cornflakes next....

Maybe i need to clarify my point...

..... let me know if you can find anyone without a few of these symptoms wink.gif

But yeah, of course its better to know whats good and bad, and of course trial and error is useful.

Chloracne is an interesting condition and warrants more research, but i was just questioning the prevalence of it and the likelihood that it effects you or i... which is very very very small.
