From the Inside Flap

Everyone gets a blemish now and then. But for some, acne is a way of life. Acne sufferers spend millions of dollars in their desperate hunt for a solution. Often they turn to incomplete over-the-counter remedies or even prescription drugs with dangerous side effects.

Now, there is a cure.

The Acne Cure describes a revolutionary, proven treatment program that, in no more than 6 weeks, eliminates acne in 95 percent of all cases--even the most severe ones. You will see dramatic results in as little as 24 hours!

The Acne Cure is the only book ever to offer a comprehensive, safe, rapid, and almost universally successful method of eliminating acne without prescription drugs, without side effects, without shifts in lifestyle or eating habits, and at little cost.

Whether you're a teenage girl embarrassed to date because of her complexion, or a woman who feels her face is disfigured by acne; whether you're a boy with pimples, or a mature man for whom shaving is torture because of the bumps and lesions of the disease; whether you're White, Black, Hispanic, or Asian, this program is for you. Using the simple, in-home Acne Cure protocol, you can now get rid of your acne--once and for all.

YOU WILL LEARN:

The simple, step-by-step program to eradicate even the most difficult acne

The ideal cure for any age or skin type

The real story of acne: what it is, how it spreads, and what is just a myth

The scientific proof behind the Acne Cure program

Which vitamins and antioxidants help your skin

What really works to eliminate razor bumps in men

How stress affects acne and what to do about it

The best ways to deal with the really tough acne problems

How to eliminate acne scars

In only a few minutes a day, in no more than 6 weeks--and often much sooner--your skin will be healthy, vibrant, and acne-free. Better still, when you follow the simple, inexpensive program outlined in this book, chances are your acne will not return. Even if it does, you'll have no trouble eliminating all traces of it again promptly.

From now on, you never need worry about acne again. Say good-bye to pimples and hello to clear skin.

No I haven't bought the book -- am wondering if anyone else here has and so whether it's worth buying for myself.

Anyone?

I thumbed through it at Books A Million.  Wasn't anything that revolutionary.  Nothing I thought would CURE it .  Good common sense stuff from what I remember.  Talked about diet and topicals and maybe some things I didn't agree with, but I can't remember what they were.

(Not much help here am I?)

Thanks for that thorough description of Dr Dubrow's program.

I recently borrowed the book from my local library, found a very helpful pharmacist to choose the products and started the program two days ago. I have been interested if anyone else has tried this and if it has helped, I was getting worried that I had just tried yet another thing that would fail but I now feel confident again. I completely understand about the lack of clear instructions on using the product, luckily I did read the program section several times prior to carrying it out so I did not make the mistake of using the G-Acid in the evening too, I almost did though.

As I said it is only day two, the only thing I have noticed is that it has helped clear up present acne very quickly, without me evening noticing, usually they start getting annoying and I just want to squeeze them to get rid of them but I have not felt that need at all.

As for the SPF this is really crucial when using any form of S-acid or G-acid because you are actually removing layers of skin, the skin underneath which is now exposed MUST be protected from UV rays, I live in Australia so this is an absoluted must over here, it is second nature to put UV cream on but I found a really good one with a nice matt finish and it is not greasy.

I recommend not buying the book, simply borrow it and copy the pages of the program or just write the details out and stick it on your bathroom mirror. The book is an interesting read but I dont think it is necessary to purchase it.

Good luck.

I did this program religiously for 2 mo. including the nightly ice packs and didn't get me clear. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But hey it might work for you.
