Two very simple additional tips!

Recommended Posts

Hi -

Just thought I'd like to say this for the professional workers out there -

Because BP gel has some bleaching properties, put your hairgel on BEFORE starting the BP part of the regimen in the morning. Just removes the risk of lightening your hair.

Also do your shirt and tie up BEFORE starting the BP part of the regimen in the morning - I know Dan says specifically to wash your hands, and obviously he's right (it's his regimenn afterall!), but if there's even a tiny bit you missed, the smallest smear on a nice tie will ruin it. You can just flip it over your shoulder to stop it dipping in the sink while you apply the BP!

Finally, contact lenses! Same as before, put them in BEFORE beginning the BP part of the regimen for the day, because that might hurt otherwise!

So, in summing up, put your tie on, gel your hair and put your contact lenses in before you start the regimen for the day!

Can I just say, I've just started the regimen. I'm 19 going on 20, and I have had moderate acne for a few years which I gave up tying to sort out, but is very annoying because, in my line of work, you have to maintain a professional appearance. It's also a total nightmare when you're trying to socialise in a nightclub or pub, etc and you just lose all your confidence. I was considering strong medications but really didn't want to try them out. Anyway, this is day two for me and it's going pretty well already, which is certainly encouraging!

You don't know the number of nice shirts that I've ruined because of benzoyl peroxide on my neck. I sometimes get acne there and of course apply some med in that area. Now I just don't put any on my neck during the day (only at night).

Those are some very excellent tips! Thanks for sharing.

I can think of a few more, that have been mentioned before, but consider using only white towels, so the bp doesn't leave bleach stains on your nice colored one's, and also consider buying some cheap plain white pillow cases too!
