I used vinegar once last night for about 5 minutes, and it made the area I applied it very red. Now it is not going away. I think it gave me a rash or something. What should I do?

There are two reasons for your rash,

1) you did not dilute the vinegar, or did not dilute it enough. Anyone who is acne prone, automatically has sensitive skin. This means that we must be more gentle with our skin then the average person. I have started using ACV on my face as well, but dilute it so that there is barely any color left in the mixture, and I have not had any problems. I have yet to see if it even works though.

2) your skin might be reacting with the cleanser you use, or, your skin is too dry for ACV. In spots where I had dry skin, it would react more because that area is absent of much of the natural oils that your skin needs to stay healthy.

Hope this helps. I am wondering if ACV works at all, but we shall see!!!
