Witchhazel and the Regimen

I have read several posts saying that witchhazel fades red marks left by acne. I was excited to hear this as witchhazel is dirt cheap and with everything else that I am doing I am going to go broke trying to get rid of this stupid acne. My face is pretty much clear of active acne after a week and a half on the regime, but is it safe to start the witchhazel to get rid of red marks. Should it be used in conjunction with BP or should I stop using the BP (since I don't have any active breakouts right now) and just use the witchhazel? Any advice would be appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend stopping the bp. Remember, there is no cure for acne so if you stop, you're likely to have it return. Witch hazel is very mild so you can use it whenever, wherever. I use it as a toner and to get rid of my makeup at the end of the day. You can wear it under the bp if you want, i don't think it'd matter.

I have started using the witchhazel in between my Purpose soap and the BP. I will give it a couple of weeks and post what the results are on this thread.

I use olay face wash with witch hazel in it. No results in diminishing red marks, but it's great for breakouts.
