Miss_Prolixity 0 Share Posted April 17, 2003 Hi Slipknot, CRN (Coucil for Responsible Nutrition) recommends that the industry adopt a maximum level of 10,000 IU per day for vitamin A supplements intended for general use by adults and a maximum level of 8,000 IU per day for vitamin A supplements formulated for prental use (pregnant women). Since you're doubling your dose of vitamin A to 16,000 IU's a day, you could take one tablet, then cut 1/4 off the next. That should give you the recommended 10,000 IU of vitamin A daily.
