TCA CROSS w/plastic toothpicks?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

People talk about using wooden applicators (toothpicks) to apply TCA, but what about plastic toothpicks? I happen to have a bunch of plastic toothpicks, and was wondering if I could go ahead and use those instead of wooden ones. They're sharper and narrower than my wooden toothpicks. I'm just curious if there's any reason why I shouldn't use the plastic ones.

I've been lurking for a while, and this is my first post. Much thanks to everyone on here providing advice and tips to treat acne scars. Ya'll are awesome.

Tca on a plastic applicator would seem uncontrollable. The reason being is that with a toothpick the tca would soak into the wood on the toothpcik but on the plastic applicator it might be more on the tip than you actually want
