Juicing foods

Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone juices foods like fruits etc and vegetables?

As i was thinkings of juicing cucumber and carrat together smile.gif.

Would a blender be ok do u reckon to use to juice foods?

What other foods could i juice?

We have one of those Jack Lalane's power juice. It's a great juicer but a complete pain to clean up since we don't have a dishwasher so we never use it.

I think a blender will be ok. Just be aware that the blending process destroys certain enzymes and vitamins by heating up the produce while shredding it. I'm not sure how much exactly is destroyed.

Oh no, i didnt think that it did that to the food eusa_doh.gif. Well im sure that i will be ok until i get one. Lol, thats the thing about cleaning them out, i can imagine they are a real pain to do.

Actually Steve, we have a Jack Lalanne too and I don't find it a pain to clean at all. The only thing you have to scrub is the filter; the other parts we just run water over.

Juicing is one of the best things you can do for your body! I'e done it for years.
