Witch Hazel on large zits.

Okay so I bought "Disstilled Witch Hazel" or rather my mother bought it for me heh heh. And I haven't really been using it because it made my zits bigger and redder and I told my mom about it and she said it was just bringing the shit to the surface faster. Is she right? Because I am due back at school on Jan 3 and I want to at least get a bit clearer skin!

i think its more likely the spots are being irritated by the strengh of it. theres no reason for them to 'come to the urface' witch hazel is good because it kills bacteria and dries spots out, i wouldnt recomend you use it on large spots or cysts.
