Whats your Docs name? Im in Sydney so I know most of them here.

Keloids are hard to get rid of permanently. Are you sure yours is a keloid and not a hypertrophic scar?

Keloids can come back even after they are excised. Some docs try to stop this by injecting steroids into the scar site just after excision or a few weeks later.

I had a hypertrophic scar on my cheek which kept coming back even after it was excised. It flattened out with steroid injections although its still a bit red.
