Hello! I've decided to book a consultation with Dr. Colin Hong for scar revision to ask about subcision. Has anyone had experience seeing him? There's a consultation fee that they charge (previous reviews said itd be covered by OHIP but I asked the receptionist and she said it wasn't).

I just googled him.. he doesnt seem to specialize in scar revision at all.. Id take any advice he gives with a couple spoonfuls of salt

I saw a few post here mentioning the doctor but I agree, I couldnt really find much on him. He seems to be fully booked though, earliest consult i could get was late October. I chose him because there doesnt seem to be many options I could find here in Toronto. Do you know any?

Honestly and youre not going to like this, but Id say save your money and visit Dr Rullan or one of the other acne scar specialists in the US. After spending thousands upon thousands on doctors in Toronto on acne scar treatments, Ive realized none of them have any idea what they are doing. You really need a specialist to make acne scars better and not worse.
