Reports from microcoring?

I saw a post from some doctor (it was in the scarless healing thread) saying like 20 different clinics would offer microcoring in 2021. That doctor said the procedure was effective for scarring. Who here has had the procedure done, and what were the results? Do you have before and after pictures you could share? I think it would be really helpful for us all if we had an idea of what to expect from this new method.

Ok... I'm just asking about microcoring though. We don't know much about this treatment so I'm asking if anyone who's had it done can share with us their experience.

A lot of these are not effective.

^Not sure, but if there are 20 worldwide I'm guessing at least a few of those are in the US.

It would be nice if we could sticky threads that have to do with new treatments. That way no one visiting the forums will be able to miss them.

I emailed the manufacturer and they ask for my area, I replied with my zip code and they haven't replied back.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. What's the name of the manufacturer you talked to?

Thanks, at least we have a name now, both of the doctor and the treatment.

The name of the microcoring procedure that I'm seeing most often is Ellacor.

Just an update: something I only just realized is that microcoring and Ellacor are only approved as of yet for wrinkles, not acne scars. So maybe that is why we're not hearing more about it. I hope it is effective.

You can try contacting the doctors who did the clinical trials https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34729291/
