I don't mean to dishearten anyone but after 2 years of treatment my left side looks the same or worst. The first photo is from 2019 and the last two are this month with different angles.

3 subcisions 2 genius and 2 pixel lasers.

last sub and laser was 2 months ago v

Dirigo39 please follow my story im 45 male and ive had countless treatments and even more treatments than you in past 2-3 years and my scars are still the same if not worst....not sure how old you are? but the older one gets the scars look way worser - loss of collagen and I done filler too and that not help at all either

if you've done more than me, then you've done too much.

agreed dirigo39 its is a near impossible thing (acne scars) to get even the slightest of improvements...this is compunded by the many fradulent cosmetic doctors who prey on us 'victims'

compounded

Hey I also had minimal improvements with my treatments (subcision with or without filler, laser etc. etc.), but the thread of a user called PivotalAnime changed it. She recommended hydrocolloid dressing. I tried it and Im so surprised because my skin made a dramatic change in the last months.

The aftercare is very, very important. Avoid the sun after treatments at all costs. Its no joke. Drink a lot of water. Eat food which stimulates collagen. Take no drugs. Use hydrocolloid dressing (maybe at night/sleep). Moisturize your skin twice a day.

Unfortunately not. But using hydrocolloid dressing is not a big thing. Here you can buy them for 2,95. So you dont have much to lose if you give it a try.

I believe this. A reddit post someone posted said they used hair gel 24/7 on their wrist cutting scars and after a year the scars disappeared.

If you are in the UK, can try H consult for mega aggressive treatment since you are young and fair skinned.

btw, your scarring doesn't take as much away from as you think

1st sub - Dr. Weiner, unimpressed I don't know if this even qualifies as a sub

2nd sub - Dr. Rullan, thorough I'll return for my 4th

3rd sub - Dr. Blake in San Diego, he used a nokor and i have thin skin so I don't know if that was smart. (if you're a male I recommend him it's only $550). $1000 for trio. Hes not as experienced as Rullan so I don't know if his technique is as good as Rullan. Hes the only doc who pointed out tca cross wouldn't work for my type of scars which I agree.

Genius - I saw a difference each time after 4 months but then it went back to the it was before.

wow that fuking sucks. And these are top rated acne scar treatment doctors right?

Would fillers not work for your scars?

btw, do you happen to know if there are any good scar doctors out in the east coast, near NYC?

Is there anything else that you want to try for the scars that you think will work?

btw, how much did these doctors charge you?

Rullan is the only one I consider experienced. Like I said I'll get a couple more subs with him.

If I do filler it will be the last treatment because I want them leveled as much as possible.

I dont know any docs in ny. in my opinion you should use your vacation to go to Rullan rather than risk someone who doesn't know what they're doing.

To be fair my skin takes a long time to heal it only been 2 months since my last treatment. another photo in another 2 months would tell me more.

Rullan 1200

Weiner 1300 ish don't remember.

Genius was done by a nurse, got a good deal for 3.

Go for fully ablative erbium laser on the edges of the scar only. This should help the scar look smoother. And then do fillers as well. Filler should be a factor once those edges are further trimmed.

How do I find someone who knows how to laser edges? and what kind of should I use?

Find local derms that™s offer laser and ask them if they angled resurfacing on the edges. Dr Taylor does it in utah though, if you are Asian go for erbium fully ablative laser and if white you can consider co2 fully ablative.
