Does anyone have experience treating acne scars withDr. Cynthia Mayhay-Lopez in Fresno, California? I came across her Instagram and saw she is majorly doing acne scar treatment. Most importantly, she seems to do things quite aggressively. She uses Taylor Liberator or V-shape dissector. She does laser super aggressively and combine a lot of things in one session. Also she does fully ablative laser resurfacing. To be honest, not many doctors will do things so aggressively (at least I didn't find any one else, my be Dr. Mark B. Taylor in Salt Lake City). Looks Dr. Lopez is also a believer of one-and-done treatment. Although most cases it's not really "one and done", looks she's aiming for at least 70% improvement in one session. Also, looks she knows a lot for acne scar treatment. She knows multi-level subcision, she knows Taylor Liberator, etc. Looks she is an acne scar expert. Does anyone have treatment with her? (I know someone had some bad experience with her, but I just want to see more data points)
I never had experience with her but when i was being recommended acne scar doctors she was told as a potential person. Im guessing she has pretty good results. also, they said she is good for ethnic skin (dont konw why was just told "since you have ethnic skin dr lopez can be good")

stayyyyy away. she has horrible reviews. Also ruined face.

don't go to her, would never recommend her, look at her yelp reviews

Nah, I think your case is just an outlier (if it's real). TBH, I do think Dr. Lopez knows what she is doing. Much better than many other docs. I don't know why you just keep posting your stuff everywhere...

I had a virtual consult with her. She was veryknowledgeable about acne scar treatmentsto the same extent as Dr. Lim. I was impressed, but I haven't received treatment from her so I can't really judge.Since I'm out of townand I have a severe case, she recommended me to another doctor that is a bit closer since I'll likely need multiple treatments.

Yeah, same case for me. I sent her my pictures and she gave me detailed analysis and potential treatment. She sounds very knowledgeable. I am hesitatingif I should travel to Fresno that far to visit her...

It might be worth it, but you should probably take her advice and at least attempt to see if you can find a scar specialist in your area that can implement the treatment plan. It's just better that way if possible because if you have complications, you're just driving distance, not a whole expensive flight away. Acne scar revision is already expensive enough
