any remedies for acne scarring at home?

Recommended Posts

i was supposed to start accutane early last year. the dermatologist told me to start taking the pill and that i had to be on it for at least  2-3 weeks before i could come back, do some urine tests and then start accutane. the letter never came to tell me to come back, obviously due to the current state of things. im 19 so the worst of my acne is pretty much over with and the worst my acne gets now is normally around when im about to start my period. i have a lot of scarring on my chin and cheeks and was just wondering if theres anything i can do/take to reduce the scarring? it obviously doesnt have to clear it up completely since i dont expect anything but medication can do that but i just want to be able to look in the mirror and not have my scarring be the first thing i notice about my face.

What type of scars do you have? There are icepick, boxcar, and rolling scars. Pictures would help.

Microneedling is one of the few things you can do at home but I don't have high hopes for it. It's best to gather more information since scars are different.
